2027 Lincoln Navigator Overview

2027 Lincoln Navigator driving on a highway

The 2027 Navigator is Lincoln's largest three-row SUV, and the biggest change this year is underneath it: rear-wheel drive is now standard on every trim, with 4x4 still available. Every version uses a 440-horsepower twin-turbo V6, seats up to eight, and comes with four years of Lincoln BlueCruise. You can see one at our Spokane store on North Foothills Drive.

What's New for 2027

The 2027 Navigator keeps the same body and engine. The changes are small, but they matter if you're ordering one.

  • Rear-wheel drive (4x2) standard on all trims, 4x4 optional
  • Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package available on every 4x4
  • New colors: Nocturnal Blue, Bronze Fire and Frosted Fig
  • New Afterglow interior on Premiere and Reserve
  • Available power-reclining 40/20/40 third-row bench on Reserve
  • New 24-inch wheel choices on Black Label

Rear drive also brings the best fuel economy in the lineup. Lincoln lists EPA estimates of 16 city, 23 highway and 18 combined mpg for the 4x2, and 15/22/17 for the 4x4.

Power, Towing and Drivetrain

There's one engine: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic. Adaptive suspension and Lincoln Drive Modes are standard on both body lengths.

The tow package adds a trailer brake controller and a two-speed transfer case with neutral tow and Slow Climb mode. If you plan to pull a boat or camper over mountain passes out of Spokane, 4x4 with that package is the setup to ask for.

Navigator or Navigator L

Every trim comes in two lengths with the same engine and features. The L is 11.9 inches longer and Lincoln prices it $3,000 above the standard model at each trim.

Pick the L if you'll use all three rows and still need room for luggage. If the third row is mostly folded, the standard length is easier to park downtown.

Inside the 2027 Navigator

A 48-inch panoramic display runs the width of the dash, with an 11.1-inch touchscreen below it. The Lincoln Digital Experience software builds in Google apps and services, including Google Maps, so navigation doesn't depend on your phone.

Standard second-row captain's chairs seat seven. Premiere and Reserve offer a 40/20/40 second-row bench that raises it to eight. The third row has power recline on every trim.

Included for four years

  • Lincoln BlueCruise hands-free highway driving
  • Lincoln Connectivity Package with 5G Wi-Fi hotspot
  • Lincoln Security Package with theft alerts

The standard Lincoln Split Gate opens in two parts: the glass lifts and the lower section folds down into a seat. Lincoln calls it class-exclusive among large premium SUVs.

The Three Navigator Trims

Premiere is the starting point, Reserve adds the comfort and audio upgrades, and Black Label tops the range. See the 2027 Navigator trim levels page for the full breakdown.
